Each technician is equipped with a powerful handheld computer which is capable of many functions. This computer is able to provide two-way communication through text messaging or voice allowing us to dispatch service calls quickly and efficiently. Technicians are able to access the history of your elevator to aid in troubleshooting difficult intermittent calls. Once a service call is diagnosed and corrected the information is sent to our data centre for storage. Special software within the handheld will aid our technicians in adjusting, setting up and diagnosing problems on some control systems which can mean a quicker return to service for your elevator. Every scheduled maintenance visit and service call is sent by our office staff to the technician’s handheld ensuring prompt accurate service. Should our technician require parts for your elevator they are able to order them electronically keeping your equipment up and operational.
